Semester Sport 2023
Years 3-6 take part in a weekly afternoon sports program each semester. Schools can enter a maximum of two teams in each sport. The teams will then be organised into Division A and Division B competitions where possible.
2023 entries are due as follows:
Semester 1 – Year 3 & 4 and Years 5 & 6 - Friday 11 February
Semester 2 – Year 3 & 4 & Year 5 & 6 – Friday 16 June
Entry forms for both semesters can be found in the admin section of this site and can only be submitted by sports coordinators.

Semester 1 Dates
Year 5 & 6 Wednesday afternoon sport – Girls Touch Football & Boys Football (9 aside).
2022 Dates: March 1, 8, 15, 29, April 5, 26, May 3, 10, 17, 24
Year 3 & 4 Friday afternoon sport – Girls Basketball & Boys Football (6 aside)
2022 Dates: March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 April 28, May 5, 12, 19, 26
Semester 2 Dates
Year 5 & 6 Wednesday afternoon sport – Girls Basketball & Boys Touch Football.
2022 Dates: August 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 September 6, 13, 20, October 11, 18
Year 3 & 4 Friday afternoon sport – Girls Netball & Boys Basketball
2022 Dates: August 4, 11, 18, 25 September 1, 8, 15, 22 October 13, 20
Note: Hills Basketball is unavailable on Aug 25 and Sept 15. It may be the case that one one division plays on each of these weeks. Games will also be played on October 27th. Schools will be advised.
Year 3 Gala Day - Thursday 19 October, entries due Thursday 21 September
Year 4 Gala Day - Tuesday 15 August, entries due Friday 28 July
HZSA should be notified how many groups each school will send, based on mixed groups of 10 students.
Year 5 & 6 Boys Basketball - Thursday 14 September, entries due Thursday 17 August
Year 5 & 6 Girls Netball - Thursday 9 March, entries due Thursday 23 February
Schools can enter one team in each of the Year 5 & 6 gala days.
