Schools Boys & Girls Basketball Championship

Date: Wednesday 14 February, 2018        Venue: Hills Basketball Stadium

Warm Up starts from 8.30am and games will start promptly at 9am.

The winning boys and girls teams from this event will go on to contest the AICES Basketball Cup on Wednesday 28th March.

Boys Basketball takes place in Semester One, starting week beginning February 19, 2018

Days and Times: Junior – 4pm Tuesday, Intermediate – 4.45pm Tuesday, Seniors – 4pm Thursday

Venues: Home and away school venues as per draws.

Open Boys Trials – Tuesday 20 February, 4pm at Hills Adventist College.

Nominations can only be submitted through sports coordinators and are due Tuesday 13 February.

15s Boys Trials – Tuesday 18 September at Arndell Anglican College.

Nominations can only be submitted through sports coordinators and are due Friday 7 September.

AICES Open Basketball

Boys who are selected into the HZSA Opens Basketball team will need to register their information to confirm their selection. Parents / carers should click on the link below and complete all the necessary information by Friday 23rd February 2018.

AICES Open Basketball Information

Training: Wednesday 28th February 2018, 4pm at Hills Adventist College

Date: Thursday 8 March, 2018

Venue: Hills Basketball Stadium, Fred Caterson Reserve, Castle Hill

Time: 9am arrival. This is subject to change once AICES have completed draw. Students will be required to make their own way to the venue.

Uniform: Students will be supplied with playing uniform and have option to purchase HZSA Polo Shirt.

Costs: Uniform Levy – $10 plus GST. Polo Shirt if required – $35 plus GST. All costs are billed to schools.

AICES 15s Basketball Information

Date: Thursday 8 November

Venue: Hill Basketball Stadium, Fred Caterson Reserve, Castle Hill

Time: 9am arrival. this is subject to change once AICES have completed draw. Students will be required to make their own way to the venue.

Uniform: Students will be supplied with playing uniform and have option to purchase HZSA Polo Shirt.

Costs: Uniform Levy – $10 plus GST. Polo Shirt if required – $35 plus GST. All costs are billed to schools.

Girls Basketball takes place in Semester Two, Starting week beginning August 6, 2018.

Days and Times: Junior (Years 7 & 8)- 4pm Wednesday, Senior (Years 9-11) – 4.45pm Wednesday

Venues: Home and away school venues as per draws.

Points: Win  = 3 points      Draw  = 2 points      Loss  = 1 point     Forfeit  = 0 points 

Forfeit will incur a 20-0 loss to the forfeiting team with no points allocated

Semester Two Draws

Draws will be added once school entries are received.
